On 16, September, a new project promotion conference about Camellia Oleifera vegetable oil processing was held in Liucheng, Fengshan Town by Guangxi Science Technology Office under the conjunction of Tianli eco-agriculture Plant Co., Ltd. The project is to promote a new oil plant product, the National Safflower Camellia with large fruit, to all the enterprise representatives and farmers come because of reputation.
National Safflower Camellia with large fruit is the focus R & D projects of Guangxi Science and Technology Department. After experts directional select growth from wildness prototype, a new variety was cultivated with extensive practical, little plant diseases and insect pests, drought-resistant, cold resistant, barren resistant, high production value which suitable for mountainous, histie area planted with a broad marke prospect.
Camellia is an unique resources to China, which its oil quality can match with olive oil. Guangxi is the largest province planted Camellia oleifera, especially in Sanjiang Dong Nationality Autonomous County, where the local tea cultivation is one of its main forestry production. However, extensive management and forest aging caused disproportionate and extensive cultivation etc. By transforming new varieties of Camellia, the optimized varieties structure promoted production yield greatly.
As a special economic plant, camellia oleifera have its good features and wide using.
