1. Feed pellet is not straight, cracks occur on the outside of the pellet.

Cause: Slicer blade is too far away and not sharpen enough; raw material need further milling; pressure of the feed pellet plant is too low.

Solution: Sharpen and adjust the slicer position; increase the crushing degree; use a thicker moulding-die, add some oil or honey.

2. Transverse crack appear on the pellet.

Cause: The fiber of raw material is too long; time for conditioning is too short; water content is too high.

Solution: Control the crushing degree of fiber; prolong more time of conditioning; adjust the water content of raw material.

3. Vertical crack appear on the pellet

Cause: Raw material formula has lower binder effect; water content is too high while the cooling process; the pressing process time is too short.

Solution: improve the formula, increase the density of raw material; use drier steam for conditioning.
