Closer to Flat Die Pellet Mills
Pellet fuel is playing an increasingly important role in our lives, not only in industrial production, but also in daily household energy supply. As one of the shaping technology, processing biomass pellets has become more and more popular in recent years. In the development of biomass pelletizing industry, flat die pellet mills have gradually gained favor of producers such as small-scale factories, workshops and domestic fuel production, for its durability and strong adaptability to raw materials.Classification
Flat die pellet mills can be classified into many types. According to the state of motion of execution units, they can be sorted into flat die pellet mills with roller rotating and ones with die rotating, whereas electric, gasoline, diesel, PTO ones are in the list based on different power sources.
Working Principle
After the START button is pressed, the motor/gasoline engine/diesel engine is powered and begins working, the power generated by which is then transmitted to the spindle. The relative movement of the pressure roller and the die compress the raw materials into die holes, in which way they are shaped into many small cylinders. The formed cylinders are cut into pellets by cutters and sent out of the machine by a rotating tray on top of that.
There are some differences between flat die pellet mills with rotating die and ones with rotating roller. For the former ones, the pressure rollers are fixed to the upper box, and the die is driven by the spindle; while for the other, the die is a fixed one and the rollers rotates instead of the die. Despite different transmission methods, the basic principle is the same.
Features
- Scientific and reasonable structure, which makes it simpler to operate, smaller in size and lower in noise.
- High success rate of pellet forming; pellets manufactured by the mill have high hardness and smooth surfaces.
- A range of diameters of the die hole from 6 mm to 10 mm, which can meet various kinds of raw materials such as straw, stalks, rice husks, sawdust, etc.
- Standardized spare parts to ensure it easy to operate and maintain, safe and reliable.
